Accessed via a grand atrium, the residence accommodates three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, including a superb master suite with a sitting room, dressing room, balcony and clawfoot bath. Along with a spacious study with custom-designed blackbutt joinery there is a versatile studio with its own balcony and cathedral ceilings. Presided over by soaring ceilings, the extensive lounge and dining spaces are warmed by a Jetmaster fire. At the heart of the home lies a stylish Mintaro slate kitchen with state of the art European appointments, recycled blackbutt cabinetry and a butler’s pantry, making it perfect for those who love to entertain.

Meticulously crafted

Natural finishes and thoughtful features have been carefully selected to create ambience and warmth. Recycled 220mm blackbutt floorboards are found throughout with 7” skirting boards, while many of the walls and ceilings are lined with washed timber or pressed metal. Old naval wharf posts rise through the centre of the house, doors are recycled Kauri pine and the elegant shutters are solid cedar. Additional features include metalwork by renowned blacksmith Hans Brosch, a Colourbond roof, leadlight windows, wireless internet, ceiling fans and a double carport.

Magical sprawling grounds

Wonderful for alfresco entertaining, the home is framed by wide Merbau timber decks and impeccably manicured gardens, with a circular driveway for a grand entrance. It gazes over rolling lawns which create a sense of space and privacy, enhanced by an impressive solid bronze fountain and a dramatic bushland vista. There is ample room to add a tennis court and pool should you so desire. The house uses spring water fed from a bore while the garden and potting nursery’s automatic watering system is fed from a spring. Amenities include a large bay shed, two generous rack systems with storage bins and a workshop which accommodates a small tractor and two quad bikes.
